PRESENTING
SMOKIN' GOOD
SMOKIN' GOOD, chronicles the journey of August Good, (Shiek Mahmud-Bey), a single father who turns his life around from an illegal past, to a legal present; in hopes of achieving a prosperous and wealthy future for himself and his daughter (Rodriana Jordan). August believes that cannabis is the golden ticket to the prosperity he seeks, but the path is full of many hurdles to overcome. Enemies from the street, jealous family members, bitter ex-girlfriends, backstabbing partners and unscrupulous political forces, just to name a few.
THE REPEATED
The Repeated is a story that follows a therapist and their encounters with their clients. The therapist does great getting others to face their fears and talk things through. However, deep down inside they have their own emotional turmoil. Not feeling adequate in their career and life choices. When the virtual therapy sessions are off, the therapist contemplates existence and purpose. They connect very deeply with their clients to the point that it heals the clients but hurts the therapist.
THE INNER CIRCLE
THE INNER CIRCLE, a dark, gritty drama set in Detroit, Michigan, centers on the lives of rehab patients in a 28 day, in-patient addiction recovery program. The Brentwood Center for Recovery (BCR) is a privately owned, government funded rehabilitation facility and the brainchild of Founder and Chief Psychiatrist, Dr. Ben Taylor. As a labor of love, Dr. Ben, a 43- year-old African-American, renovated a brownstone, opened the doors five years ago and has made it his life’s mission to aid in addiction recovery.
RING RING
Ring Ring - Is a comedy about two telemarketers Charlie and Carlos . They are having a hard time closing sales at DryWater, a Swedish bottled water company selling water from desert areas. Charlie overhears Carlos, her office mate, using accents to close sales, Charlie tries it herself and things get out of hand.
KNUCKLES
Knuckles is an introspective look at relationships and life with boxing as the backdrop. Taaj is a young, up and coming boxing contender and Darren is a former boxer now trainer, who is desperately trying to help Taaj realize his true potential. Through this process, Darren lives vicariously through Taaj whose confidence is his greatest asset and also his greatest liability.
